بِسْمِ ٱللَّـهِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

1 In the name of God, the Almighty,1 the Merciful.

ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّـهِ رَبِّ ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ

2 Praise belongs to God, the Lord of All Creation,1

ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

3 The Almighty,1 the Merciful,

مَـٰلِكِ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ

4 Master of the Day of Judgment.1

إِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَإِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِينُ

5 Thee alone do we serve,1 and from Thee alone do we seek help.2

ٱهْدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٰطَ ٱلْمُسْتَقِيمَ

6 Guide Thou us on the straight path,1

صِرَٰطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ غَيْرِ ٱلْمَغْضُوبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ

7 The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; not of those who incur wrath,1 nor of those who go astray.2
